About Us
We believe all people in Nanaimo should have access to healthy and nutritious food.
We collect donations of cash and food from the people of Nanaimo. We use these donations to make sure food is available to people in need on a weekly basis. We do this through various distribution points through out the city.
To provide God's unconditional love as we nourish the body and soul in a safe, friendly atmosphere.
On average, the food bank provides assistance to approximately 830 families (with 1400 children) plus an additional 2,100 individuals.
Loaves and Fishes is dependent upon donations of food and money from the community. You can make a difference!
